Royal Wedding News: The Wedding Cake

Kate and William will have at least two wedding cakes. ?Following the royal tradition, they will have one cake for each of the official wedding receptions that will be hosted in their honor. ?Their cakes will be more formal than typical wedding cakes.? At least one of the cakes will feature William's coat of arms prominently.? The Welsh National Culinary team has been confirmed to be backing and decorating one of the royal wedding cakes.? Graham Tinsley, the team manager for the Welsh National Culinary team says, "It will be traditionally Welsh and there's a good chance that harps, dragons and the national flag will be represented." (Source: ABC News) Confectioners from across the globe have begun sketching what they believe the wedding cake will look like. The real design (s) will not be released to the general public until the wedding day. Take a look at what the world's best bakers would make for the royal couple. It seems just about everyone is getting in on the royal wedding fun.? The Ideal Home Show held in London last week hosted a royal themed wedding cake competition. Michelle Wibowo won the competition after sculpting the below cake for the competition. It's reported that it took her 80 hours to construct. I'm not sure how I feel about it, so I'll let you be the judge.
