Gold can do so much for any event or any outfit. I've always felt like adding a bit of gold to something was a wise choice, and a definite way to increase the fun aspect to it. Whether you are planning on being a sun-kissed bride during the heat of the summer, or a snow bunny bride atop the slopes on new year's eve, gold is without a doubt worth incorporating into your wedding. Now let's take a look at these photographs for some real golden goddess inspiration This colour scheme is simple, timeless, and the gold adds just enough pizazz to make it not boring. I love the combination of the white lace with the gold and the way that it photographs. Absolutely stunning! I picture a bride and flower girls wearing white vintage dresses with lots of lace, and carrying bouquets with golden and green hues. Unless of course you prefer a bouquet of white roses held together by gold ribbon. I see bridesmaids in subtle elegant gold dresses, and groomsmen wearing gold ties with white button down shirts and khaki/gold pants. If you want to spice it up a bit, or are having a night wedding, think about adding shimmery gold cocktail dresses for bridesmaids, accessories, etc. At the reception, use crisp white or lace tablecloths and play of the gold and green hues of the drinks you are handing out to guests. Have a signature drink that uses Goldschlager, which contains small gold flakes. Have ample amounts of champagne and white wines such as Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Instead of the typical silver silverware, use gold. Hand out gift bags to your guests to thank them for coming full of gold hued goodies, tied up with a gold ribbon. Find a great thank you stationary that plays off of your color scheme, and start writing! Palette: white, gold, khaki, champagne, stone
